Eastern Market holds a special place in my heart. My mom used to send my sister and me down on the weekends to pick up fresh vegetables when I was a kid. So, watching that part of the city come back to life these days is exciting and I am eager to be a part of it. This past summer I spent a lot of time biking down by Atwater St. to and from the market via Dequindre Cut. I love taking in the graffiti and there's something about those old, clay, brick buildings that are unique and inspiring!
