Story of an Artist
JEANNE K MCCORMICK
Jeanne K McCormick has over 40 years experience in portraiture work. Her early work includes a series of charcoal Native American portraits which were exhibited in the Jesse Besser Historical Museum in Alpena, MI. Later, a commission to write an icon led her to do a series of egg tempera religious portraits. Self-taught, her finished Christ Pantocrator icon was used in Ecumenical Services at St. Kenneth Parish in Plymouth, MI.
Today she enjoys a self-made carrier in painting portraits and places in water color. Through social media she accepts commissions from around the world.
